TCP Partner or Taxi Partner: which lane fits me?

Last updated 13 days ago

Omni runs on two permit types. Pick the one that matches the permit you already hold. Both pay the same 15% technology fee.

TCP Partner

  • For chauffeur, limousine, black car and sedan drivers

  • Active California TCP permit in your name

  • Commercial auto insurance meeting CPUC minimums, filed against your TCP and vehicle (ACORD)

  • Pre-scheduled trips

Taxi Partner

  • For licensed taxi drivers

  • Active local taxi permit in your name

  • Insurance meeting your local taxi requirements

  • On-demand and scheduled trips

Both lanes also need a driver's license, vehicle registration, a vehicle inspection, a background check, a profile photo, a vehicle photo showing your front plate and a signed driver agreement.
